My latest endeavor resulted in this wonderful and unique album performed by the amazingly talented Beth Hart. The entire album was recorded live, with only a few additional overdubs, mixed, and mastered in 37 days (hence the title) in Studio 11 at the CenterStaging facility. The album was released in Europe and Beth's band has been touring behind it successfully, with the album reaching #1 on several charts. I've been mixing a bunch of great artists over there such as Wicked Wisdom, Fenix TX, Tia Sprocket, Sick Puppies, Burt Bacharach, Panic Channel and Joanna. There's also performances and interviews with artists like The Cars, Earth Wind and Fire, The Terms, Beth Hart, and The Pussycat Dolls. Here's my latest project to hit the airwaves! This is Gavin DeGraw performing "We Belong Together", produced by Oliver Leiber, tracked by Marc Desisto and Bryan Golder (that's me), and mixed by Bob Clearmountain. Gavin recorded this song for the new movie "Tristan & Isolde", and as of Friday, 1/14/2005, this song has reached #3 on the iTunes Top 100! I did a bunch of tracking and editing on this project. The original performance was a demo of Gavin singing and playing his acoustic guitar into a couple of microphones in free time, and we needed to build a score around the existing performance, so I used a program called Ableton Live to make the demo fit a specific tempo so we could add all the other instruments and build an epic movie soundtrack. My latest mix has hit the digital airwaves! This is Brian Ray covering "Tears of a Clown" (originally performed by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles). Brian recently released his new album Mondo Magneto, and is currently on tour with Paul McCartney, formerly of The Beatles.

This is a very cool version of "Tears of a Clown". Take the original track, add a little AC/DC and a dash of The Who, gloss it up with a bit of pop polish courtesy of producer Oliver Leiber, and you're killing it! Crank it up and blow out your speakers! Buy it now on iTunes!
